Describe the moment you want to show. The artwork studio supplies the story, character details, appearance notes and selected visual references to the image model.

AI artwork uses your configured OpenAI API key and separate API billing. Character consistency may need refinement. Print resolution depends on the generated pixel dimensions and final placement.

Print files require your printer’s approval and a physical proof. Generic CMYK conversion is available; printer-specific ICC profiles and PDF/X certification are not included. Cost estimates are not quotes.

Is Tale-a-Maid only for experienced authors?
No. It is designed for first-time storytellers, developing writers and experienced authors creating illustrated stories and collections. You can begin with a working title and a single character.
Can I use my own artwork?
Yes. Upload PNG, JPEG or WebP images, reuse saved artwork, or use the AI artwork studio. Original files are included in complete project backups.
Where are my books stored?
The current app stores books and original artwork in the browser on your device. Download regular project backups, especially before switching devices or clearing browser data. Full cloud book synchronisation is not currently included.
Does it publish my book for me?
Tale-a-Maid prepares files and provides publishing guidance. You review the files, choose the platform or printer, and make the submission. Each service has its own requirements.
Can I start using it today?
The current studio is a private working release. The studio link requires an authorised account. Public sign-up, subscriptions and pricing have not yet been announced.
